★ Yet another mini update here (we promise we're hard at work on the Test Sapmler Video.). A few things. Frist off apparently we may need yet another USB stick between now and the holidays (apparently full shows with 13-50 episodes take up a lot of storage. Who knew.). However we can work with what we have for the Sampler Video. In addition to the Sampler Video we would like to announce a few things. Now these are things that most likely won't happen for a good while if at all as the success of this project is related to them but we figure we may as well announce them here. If all goes smoothly with Doon Tisney then we have some other concepts for web channels we plan on doing. These include but are not limited to a recreation of old school Boomerang (yes we know Reborn exists but this would idealy be 24/7), some kind of channel featuring recreations of Fox Kids, Kids WB, 4Kids TV/ Fox Box and maybe The Disney Afternoon on a daily rotation at respective times (maybe also some kinda something for unsorted shows too), an old school NickToons recreation with blocks for Nick GaS and TEENick, some kind of Game Show Network type channel that shows various old game shows (if we can find usible rips) and maybe some kinda G4/Tech TV recreation. These are all just ideas and if anyone else wants to use them then by all means they are more than free to do such. We will sitll try our version out if we get around to it. If nothing else we would at least like to do the Boomerang and NickToons recreations. Maybe the various cartoon block channel thingy too if possible. Thats a lot of stuff we know but since Alpha is already getting the rips for most of these shows then we may as well share them with you guys. Mind you these aren't imediate things. We still want to get Doon Tisney up and running properly before anything happens. And again this is still a side project to a side project so keep that in mind also. That's really all for now. We just didn't really know where else to announce this stuff really and wanted to get it down in writing so we don't forget. That doesn't mean these are for sure 100% projects as we do still have to actuialy get Doon Tisney up and running first and foremost. And this is Alpha's first foray into making and running a web channel so needless to say there's still more than a few kinks that would have to be ironed out before we even could realisticly consider a seccond channel or beyond. ★ This one is more of a mini update than a full on new info piece. First off we would like to congradulate a fellow member of the web channel community Eel. Recently they have rebranded their former Toon Disney related webchannel, Toon Disney Again (which while not directly related to this project is somewhat of an inspiration), into the more general Fizz channel. In addition apparently they have another channel they're working on dedicated to hosting a random shuffle of Toon Disney shows. From the looks of things it looks like the new channel will be home to all the old Toon Disney shows. As far as we can tell the Jetix shows will air as part of the Fizz schedule so it's unknown if those will transition to the new Toon Disney channel or not. It looks like that channel is going more for the old 1998-2004 era of Toon Disney before Jetix so who knows. You can find these channels on Bongo Stream also. Just look for Fizz and Toon Diggity. Again it's worth noting we're not affiliated with the Eel Toon Disney projects and vice versa. This project is seperate form their projects. But still we find it worth mentioning due to similarities and if nothing else as one web channel helping another out. Back to some more relevant news we have a bit of a special announcement to make. Our launch day will still be April 18th. However since April 17th is Alpha's birthday it's only fitting that you all get some gifts too. As such we're pleased to announce a special Sneek Peek of some of our offerings on April 17th. This will mainly be a few movies but maybe a few shows too. We're trying not to repeat what will be shown the next day. So it may just be a few films and that's it. As of now the plan is to have a BIG Movie Show Dubble Feature. The movies shown will be Balto followed by Summer Wars (Dub). Maybe a few shorts will also be shown and depending on the time one or two episodes of some of our shows. For now we plan on starting things around 8:00 PM Eastern. The preview should last till either Midnight or 1 AM depending on what all we have. After that we will go off the air until 3:00 PM Eastern on April 18th. Then we will show the Toon Disney Launch Day special followed by some theatrical shorts to round out the half hour. After that we plan on showing the movie version of the first 5 DuckTales episodes. We're working on fleashing out the rest of the schedule still from then out. In addition our Test Demo Video is also being worked on and will be avalible as soon as possible. That's really all we have to say for now. ★ We've finaly gotten a hard drive with at least enough storage to get a few shows on it. As a result we're working on getting the rips and editing them together to fit the channel. Hopefuly once we get a good starter selection of shows we can make a small "sampler" of sorts. This sampler will showcase a few examples of how our programing will look and the general idea we're going for. The full version will be avalible upon request however we will upload a version that has the full episodes edited out onto our YouTube channel for public viewing (we have to play ball with YouTube but the full version does have a selection of full episodes of some shows we offer.). We will get this up as soon as we can. We don't have everything quite yet but hopefuly over the holidays we can aquire a proper SSD with more storage. The USB stick we have now is a temperary solution in the mean time. But hopefuly we can get the Sampler Video edited together and post the YouTube version at some point soon. ★ This is the first news update about the unoffical Toon Disney relaunch. There's not much to say other than the obvious being that we've gotten this site up and running. This is exciting as this is the first foray Alpha has taken into web design (we're sure it shows). That's right folks. Alpha had to learn a brand new skill just for this project. That says a lot as is. In other regards all that can really be said is to keep your eyes pealed. We're aiming for the April 18th date to have our Test Launch. If all goes as it should then we should roll over into the next weekly stream and so forth. But of course we have to get the shows first. Now this isn't too too much of a hastle as we already have the nessicary promos and bumpers and such needed. We just have to get the shows and edit stuff all together. And we can't do all that until we get a new USB storage device. Which we're in the process of getting. Hopefuly after that we'll have enough storage to at least test the waters if nothing else. Mind you we also have to learn how to run a webchannel. So that's yet another process. But hopefuly we can get stuff all up and running for you guys by April 18th. If not then well just wait till next April 18th to try it out. Mind you this isnt even the main project Alpha is working on. This is kind of a side shoot spin off project he wanted to do. And of course he has numerous other projects (as we're sure you're aware of if you keep up with his YouTube and Twitch channels) he's working on too. And of course he has to live life still too. This is after all a fun side project to a fun side project. Honestly don't expect much more than this site to exist. But if by some stroke of luck the channel launches then there you go.
